I have been traveling to Padangbai in Bali for almost ten years. The morning view from the villa that I stay in is one of the most breathtaking vistas I have ever seen. Mount Agung, the powerful active volcano usually shrouded in clouds, will sometimes show herself in all of her breathtaking beauty, towering over the bay below. This landscape is a reminder that the earth is alive, constantly shaping and reshaping itself, always evolving in its own deep time.
